FALLING IN LOVE WITH MONTVILLE

IT WAS SMILES ALL ROUND when Paul Stewart, from Ipswich, married his New Zealand bride, Tina Bishop, in Montville during August.

Following a romantic ceremony at Secrets On The Lake, Paul and Tina, along with 100 invited guests, celebrated their wedding overlooking Montville Village from the reception room upstairs at one of the Blackall Range's most popular spots, the Montville Cafe • Bar • Grill.

Although neither Paul nor Tina are from the Sunshine Coast hinterland, they chose this area for their wedding because of its romantic atmosphere and the memories it evoked of their courtship.

"We fell in love with Montville when we first got together and it was the first place we stayed" said Paul. "So we wanted to come back for our wedding. We chose Secrets On The Lake for our honeymoon because it's so romantic, but we wanted to have our reception here at the Montville Cafe • Bar • Grill because it has such a lovely atmosphere – and the food is fantastic!"

Paul, dressed in traditional Indian wedding garb and Tina, who wore a medieval bridal gown, also chose Montville Cafe • Bar • Grill for their reception because the English pub atmosphere fitted their wedding theme.

"Tina wanted to be a princess for the day, and I wanted to be her regal prince – and I'm going to be a fantastic husband," smiled Paul, just after helping his bride cut the cake. "Montville is a great place to fall in love."
