MALENY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER Penny Riddoch was recently honoured as a top Finalist at the 12th Queensland Annual Bridal Industry Awards for which more than 1,500 wedding suppliers were nominated.
A highly coveted wedding industry accolade, the ABIA Awards are determined by bridal votes. Penny, who received her nomination with a 98.82% satisfaction rating based on the quality of her product, quality of service, value for money and attitude in servicing her brides’ needs, was quick to express her gratitude.
"I'm delighted to again be placed as a top Finalist in these Awards," she said. "With literally hundreds of other professionals, the Photography section is highly competitive and so I am really thrilled to be ranked at this level for the second year running. I thank all my brides and grooms for their support. After all, it is their votes that determine the ratings."
Kenyan-born Penny, who is now based permanently in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, has done the Maleny region proud with her outstanding success in such a competitive statewide environment. In offering his congratulations, the ABIA's Chairman, John O’Meara, said it was businesses like Penny's, with their attention to detail, pride, passion and overall professional manner, which complimented and elevated Queensland's wedding industry. He congratulated all finalists on their ability to design and deliver a bride's dream of the perfect day.
A well-known and popular member of the Maleny community, Penny Riddoch is not only an experienced wedding photographer, but is also skilled in commercial photography and portraiture. Her extensive nature and landscape photo art is sold worldwide, and appears in books, trade journals and magazines.
Other local Montville Maleny finalists in the 12th Queensland Annual Bridal Industry Awards included reception centre and ceremony venue Flaxton Gardens and Lisa Riley Mobile Makeup Artist.
Congratulations to all!
